Hi there! Do you have eczema? If you have break outs on your face, hands, or body, I can imagine how desperately you want to get rid of it.

This is a story that I would like to share...
I have been diagnosed with eczema since I was small. The doctor said I would grow out of it. Well, I guess he was wrong (grew up with eczema all over my body lmao). My mom would always prevent me from eating candies and junk foods at home.
So guess what? I would gobble down all sorts of food at my relatives house, especially during Holiday seasons. Gosh I would just dive into all those nuggets, candies, carbonated drinks, you name it!
As I grew older, I realised why my mom prevented my whole family eating those kind of foods. It taste delicious but it's not doing any good to the body (long term). With that, I learned that I need to change my eating habits.

Eventually my eczema did not have bad break outs around my face. It cleared up on my eyelids, my arms and my neck! I was so happy! But I still had eczema on my left hand, upper lip and scalp. It didn't bother me much.
Suddenly I had HUGE eczema breakouts all over my body! (I'm saving this story for another time) and was diagnosed with Gluten Allergy and some other allergies too.
Recently I had another eczema outbreak (weeping eczema) which was one of the worst ones. WARNING! If you don't like to look at icky stuff, please skip the pictures.

See how the weeping eczema healed?! Incredible!
I was in so much pain, I was scared to eat and even go for a shower (or just wash my face) because the skin was cracked open. It's like taking a shower with knives. I had to bear the pain every single day especially on my face (upper lips) and arms. I was eating only salads and non-protein meat but still, the eczema got worse.
On top of that, office work didn't help me with my condition either. I was under so much pressure and stress that took a toll on my health as well. This was when I knew my body did not have the nutrients it needs, despite me eating all those greens and fruits.
So I took up supplements that helped me tremendously and of course getting rid of it soon! I love how my skin looks and feels right now, Alhamdulillah. I can feel that my body is not as tired as it was. I was lucky this time around that I've found the best supplements in the market (globally).
Psstt, even Tun Mahathir and our Malaysian Athletes are on it too!
I also went and research on what could help me bare the pain. I cannot be in aching 24/7, that's not how I wanted to live my life. I then discovered "The Flawless Program" by Christina. Her stories and tips helped me a lot to reduce my eczema pain.
After reading her blog posts, I went straight to the Pharmacy and bought a bottle of Sodium Chloride 0.9% and put it onto my upper lips with a cotton pad. I would put on for hours! because my skin needed the hydration as well and I didn't want my skin to be severely infected again, so I did this process everyday from morning till night.

Each time the cotton is dry, I would change the cotton and soak it up again with Sodium Chloride. It took me 2 weeks to reduce the broken skin. The supplements helped my body heal faster until my skin looked quite normal as before the breakout happened.
I am still healing from my eczema and also checking on my eating habits. Now that my eczema breakouts had reduced, I am stuck with an overly dry, sensitive, flaky skin. Skincare tips would be coming soon!
Pheww what a nightmare! Going through all these eczema and pain for more than 4 months in 2021... I reflected a lot lmfao.
Hopefully you would also get through your eczema journey.
See you in my next post!
